Seen on television, on the small screens of your cab, interviewing on the red carpet or even around the neighborhood with her son – does not even top the vast qualities Raina Seitel has.
After graduating Cum Laude with a Journalism degree from Tulane University, Raina set out to accomplish her goal of becoming a successful journalist. With extensive experience at CNN, ABC and NBC, Raina has profiled and interviewed well-known celebrities and public figures such as Madonna, Meryl Streep, Bill Clinton, Denzel Washington, Christie Brinkley, Dolly Parton, Tommy Hilfiger, Vera Wang, Hugh Jackman, Clive Davis, Michael Jordan, Brad Pitt, and Rudy Giuliani to name a few. Her hard work ultimately led her to Emmy win, among other awards.
Raina has also served as co-founder and co-host of the NBC-produced, nationally syndicated TV show, “Moms and The City & A Dad named David,” and co-hosted the celebrity talk show, “Naughty But Nice” on HDNet (now AXS).
Using her style and entertainment expertise, Raina has served as a spokesperson for many blue-chip brands via Satellite Media Tours and live media appearances including Dole, Electrolux, Netflix, Coca-Cola, McDonald’s, Atlantic City Tourist Board, Energizer, Equinox, K. Hovnanian, Target and Staples. Raina has also worked as a master of ceremonies for various events and conferences, and has contributed as a contributing writer to NYDailyNews.com, Social Life Magazine, METRO Newspaper and others.
Today, Raina can be seen hosting segments on NBC’s “New York Live”, as well as other NBC platforms. She is also seen commenting on CNN, Headline News and PIX11. Her segments range from tasting cuisine at the newest restaurants, profiling the hottest fashion designers, trying the newest fitness craze and showcasing upscale apartment listings. It’s quite evident that Raina’s experiences have led her to become an expert on fashion, beauty and lifestyle. But, Raina isn’t just a pretty face. Utilizing her production and writing background, Raina is a “triple threat” as she produces, writes and hosts.
A former competitive dancer and lover of Broadway, Raina continues to channel her love of the arts into her work. When not busy working in the media, Raina switches gears and devotes her time to her son, Hunter, and long-haired Chihuahua, Theo.
